# AgentSearch
> Agent-native web search, URL extract, and headless browser rendering APIs on Pocket Network (POKT). Built for AI agents, MCP clients, RAG pipelines, and autonomous apps.

AgentSearch provides three Pocket services agents can call today:
1. Web Search (agentsearch-web-search-v1) — web search API for AI agents: up to 5 structured JSON results per call. $0.005/call on the Agentic Portal.
2. Web Extract (agentsearch-web-extract-v1) — URL to markdown API: fetch a URL and return clean text/markdown, title, links, and metadata for RAG. $0.005/call on the Agentic Portal.
3. Web Render (agentsearch-web-render-v1, Pocket MainNet + Beta TestNet) — headless browser rendering API: renders JS-heavy pages and SPAs in headless Chromium and returns the title, rendered text/markdown, and HTML (plus links, optional screenshot). Use it for dynamic page scraping; use Extract for static pages.

## Web Render API (agentsearch-web-render-v1)
- POST /v1/render  body: {"url": "https://example.com/"}  (optional: formats [markdown,text,html,links], max_chars, screenshot, wait_until, wait_for_selector, viewport)
- Returns JSON: url, status_code, title, meta, error (null on success), links, text, markdown, optional html and screenshot
- GET /v1/health, GET /v1/version, GET /v1/capabilities
- robots.txt honored (token AgentSearchRender); no logins, clicks, or form submission; 4.2 s render deadline

## MCP
- Recommended: Pocket Agentic Portal MCP — npx -y @pocket-network/agentic-portal-mcp (MCP Registry: network.pocket/agentic-portal-mcp)
  - Tools: search_services, describe_service (free), call_service (pays the service price per call in USDC via x402 from a local wallet with spend limits)
